Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Karla Jackson. I am the owner of Luno Creative Studio. I humbly consider myself the jack of all trades. I wear many hats, but my favorite ones are when I’m a crafting artist, maker, designer, homeschooling mom, and wife. I have always loved DIY projects, art painting, digital art, home decor, party décor, vibrant colors, florals, and overall fascinated with the crafting and art world.  I believe crafting and art is a form of expression that taps into your creative artsy side and allows the freedom to come up with creations beyond your imagination.

 

My love for crafting grew when my husband gifted me a Cricut cutting machine and began homeschooling preschool in 2020. I designed and cut materials with my Cricut cutting machine for my preschoolers, such as shapes, alphabet letters, numbers, and cute arts and crafts for my children’s preschool lessons. I later began creating personalized gifts for family and friends and found so much joy and happiness in this craft, especially when bringing a smile to my loved ones as I watched them open their gifts. This career path is not only rewarding, exciting, fun, and therapeutic, but eventually led me to starting my small business, Luno Creative Studio.  

 

Luno Creative Studio’s mission is to illuminate the world with faith-based, empowering, and encouraging, delicately handcrafted products to enlighten and edify people’s lives. My goal is to spread more love, joy, positive vibes, beauty, and remind people of God’s word, and plant a seed of hope and encouragement in hearts.

 

My husband, two boys, and I moved to Oahu, Hawaii in February 2023. To be gifted with the opportunity to live in Hawaii has been a dream come true and one of God’s many blessings to our family. When I am not crafting or homeschooling my kids, I love spending time with my husband and kids, love taking my children on field trips, nature walks, botanical gardens, hikes, playdates, spending time at the beach, traveling, serving in the community, working out, gardening, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and fellowshipping with other mamas.  

 

I LOVE cute details, kind, sweet and thoughtful expressions, and find that personalized handmade gifts are touching, extra special, exude a feeling of “aww” and are more heartfelt than your traditional gifts and the bonus is when it brings warmth, joy, love, and encouragement into someone’s life.
